In our exclusive poll for ITV‘s Good Morning Britain, we asked a nationally representative sample of 2,000 UK women about their level of trust in the British Police.

The research – which was conducted in the wake of a string of violent crimes against women by police officers – examines the theme of trust in the police force.

We looked at declining trust over the past 12 months and the impact of reports of failings of the police, along with media coverage of the violent crimes.

The information was further analysed by geographical location and age.
