The Bristol Love Report

eharmony commissioned OnePoll to produce a report, exploring dating and relationships in post-pandemic Bristol. The objective was to understand how dating habits had changed in the region and the factors that have driven this, whilst also exploring the main obstacles and barriers to finding love.

The Bristol Love Report revealed how Bristolians most commonly date, where they go for first dates, whether they split the bill and other topics to do with dating.

Around a quarter (23%) of Bristolians say they have never been in love. Blocks to dating include lack of confidence (45%) and not feeling attractive enough (31%), along with feeling too old (23%).

Furthermore, of the 69% of respondents who are currently in a relationship, only three quarters actually believe their current partner is ‘the one’.

Our insights were packaged up into a report designed by our in-house design team Oath Studio and led to a wider campaign which saw eharmony appoint ‘Love Hubs’ across the city, the locations where singles are most likely to find love.
